I was told the same thing, and to the best of my knowledge, everyone else has been too. Free Supercharging will show up in our accounts in mid January. Which is great for me..... I’m exclusively supercharging for the foreseeable future...... already spent $60 on charging in the first 5 days!

How did you spend $60 charging in 5 days? That’s seems a bit excessive... unless you are driving 250+ miles per day??

That's awesome! Congrats! When you make the trip to Burbank, can you gather some intel for us poor souls still waiting on whether there are any updates on when the rest of us might be picking up? :)

Mission successful.

Fingers crossed everyone that is still waiting on VINs gets their cars before the end of the year!

Got back a couple hours ago from Burbank

Pulled up to the top of the parking garage of Burbank town center and there were about 30 or so Teslas waiting to be picked up. You just accept the delivery on your phone/account and that’s basically your key to open your baby up. I brought the checklist of things to look over but I just did a walk through myself. Couple Tesla workers were waxing and cleaning other vehicles and said hi as they walked by - that’s about the most human interaction I had. Hahahaha

The sun was getting little intense and
my kids were busy playing around with the car so I felt little rushed to get it home so I can go over more things peacefully. I had no issues with the car. There was a clipboard and pen already in the vehicle with the dmv forms and I signed at the highlighted areas and drove it off. You hand it over to couple workers as you are leaving the roof area and they just verify the information before you pull away.

One interesting thing I saw was a white model 3 performance next to my spot that had the new headlights! So congrats to that person. All the LRs and SRs had the 2020 headlights.

Also didn’t realize you need to purchase homelink for the car to open and close my parking garage. So I had to find my old garage door opener - the opener is too bulky for the visor so I took off the metal clip and am now storing it in the driverside door nicely. The wireless charging ports worked fine and fit my iPhone 11 (with case) nicely. Will test out wife’s iphone 12 pro later.

No way I'm going to pay $300 for that. The best solution, which I'll do, is to attach (I'll use 4 little squares of industrial 3M double-sided tape) the opener behind the screen (at the bottom), without clip of course. It's a brilliant solution. Completely invisible, much better range than any car door opener, and basically free. Tape it below an HVAC 'button' you want, so you always know where it is. Hope this helps, and congrats on the car :).

Going back to subject, I ordered DEC 14, no VIN yet, but my delivery date changed from Dec 25-31, to Dec 31. Why the hell is taking so long? Ha ha. Just kidding. After seeing others have been waiting for over 2 months, 2 weeks will be nothing... IF it actually arrives on the 31st, that is (TX here).

Congrats on your delivery. Mine isn't until Wednesday. M3 Blue/w 19" wheels FSD
Can you briefly describe the difference between the old and new headlights?
