Anyone else in the same boat I’m in?? Starting to get a little concerned that I’m coming across some people with similar configurations (but ordered nearly a month after I did) and are getting VIN#’s and delivery dates…..

I have the same build as you. Ordered 1 month later. I show a EDD of 5/7-6/4 . I’m in FL. I think it has to do with the location that we are?? People on the west coast seem to get their cars a bit faster…. But I’m not 100% sure on this theory.. lol

Good choice! - I’m thinking you might be right about the location aspect. Definitely noticing that people on the west coast are getting their cars a bit faster. A valid theory if I may say so myself! Hoping we will our VIN’s soon though… I’ll be sure to jump back on this thread when Elon decides to give us non-Californians some attention lol!

Tesla is opening the Austin Giga on April 7th. It makes sense (given current fuel costs) for Tesla to start production on Model 3’s and ship them east of Texas. That could be why my date was shown as April when I ordered the car but May-June immediately showed up in the app.
I wonder if the Model 3’s manufactured will be constructed the same as the model Y (pressed chassis) and possibly have the newer batteries?

Hi all! Placed an order for a M3LR back on 10/29 and immediately placed a hold on it hoping for the EV incentive. Tesla only allowed a 90 day hold so it can off on 1/27. I think I had a Feb-March EDD but didn't pay much attention to it as I was trying to sell my 2021 M3 SR+ and make the numbers work. Finally sold my SR+ on Monday (for almost $10k over what I originally paid for it!) and changed my payment method to Cash in order to hopefully get priority. EDD has been at 3/18-3/31 since Monday with no changes. Really hoping to get delivery by end of month!

TL;DR

OD: 10/29/21 (placed on hold same day)
Came off hold: 1/27/22
Completed Profile: 3/14
EDD for last 3 days: 3/18-3/31

Does Completed Profile date matter? Did your EDD change after you completed profile? The reason I ask is I just completed my profile while my order was well before. thx

That section you shared in the picture you will never see unless you go there and squeeze your phone inside… the doors on bmw open differently… then see my 10 years old x5… the paint is all over including inside the hood, and not only the colored prime but the entire finishing up to the transparent layer

I dont know about you but both my 2022 tesla model 3 and 2019 M2 competition looks the same (M2 is orange, gray is tesla).
And no, i am definitely not trying to squeeze my phone in there as you can see in the picture.

Look, I'm not trying to defend tesla here. I'm just sharing my experience so anybody reading this can have their informed conclusion.

So then I went into the app and was prompted with “Tesla wants to access Bluetooth” (I assume for the key) and the VIN was there too.

I ordered the same date as you! EDD Initially April, then may15-jun15 , then march 19-31, now back up to may4-jun4 . None of it makes sense lol but i HOPE you get yours asap!!! So jelly

Sadly, no. There are no known plans to upgrade the Model 3 design to use the 4680 battery, gigacastings or the structural battery pack.

Well I think I had the luck of the Irish working for me. My name is Patrick so I think my patron saint put in a good word for me. Apparently he is the patron saint of “green” cars as well.
