Same here. I even ordered the adapter not to mention installed a 14-50. I would have installed a wall connector instead if I knew i had to spend 500$ CAD on this mobile kit. Btw, which one is it anyways? Gen 2 or Gen1?

I have wiring for a 14-30 rated plug already so wall charger not an option.

My wall connector arrived last week, and install is scheduled for next week. I had considered just rolling with a 14-50 outlet install, but wanted max charge rate capability. I’m still peeved because I wanted the mobile charger to keep in the vehicle for emergencies. I’d be SUPER upset if I had already installed the 14-50 versus the wall connector. Hopefully the mobile connector will still be included for all order dates prior to today; I think it will be.

Current vehicles come with a Gen 1 adapter as well as a J1772 adapter. I purchased a Gen 2 adapter for my (newly installed) 14-50 outlet.

I had just asked my SA when Elon made the announcement. I was told it was included too but clearly they didn't know this was coming.

Yep. Just make sure your house wiring is up to the task.
