Congrats. Make sure you check everything over good. I didn’t notice until I got home that my frunk was missing one of the rubber bump stops. I didn’t want to drive 3 hours to get one, so I called my SA. She’s going to have one shipped to me.

Bay Area here, more specifically San Jose.
Config date was Jan. 12, and my estimated delivery was 3-8 weeks. The estimated delivery date has now been removed from my account. I still don't have a VIN number in source and it looks like people located in SF are getting theirs before me even though they ordered after me. Anyone else in my same position?

White model 3, long range AWD. Black seats, standard wheels.

Thanks :( even they don't reply on emails ...

Luckily for me, I went to the showroom, and spoke with a SA. I have my SA number and we just text each other information. I had to wait 5 weeks for any updates. Once you get your VIN it actually goes by fast. You get tons of information. What really helped me, was the TMC community and the spreadsheet.

On a desktop browser like Firefox or Chrome, right click on the overview page that shows your next steps and completed tasks and select "View page source". Then do a Ctrl-F to bring up the find text box, then type in "5YJ". If you have a VIN assigned, it will be highlighted.
Hi, When I use "view page source" I don't see a VIN. However, if I "inspect" the page I see the following:

Request Callback.
*
* Form:
* - tesla_request_callback_form
* Url:
* - /inventory/callback/5YJXCAE4XGF006813

Any idea what that means?

Fremont Factory Direct Adviser called me today that my 1 day of the 3 day delivery schedule. I was like "Hey! I did not get any notification of that." He put me on hold and checked few things. He got back and said he would give full three days starting today. I got my delivery scheduled for Sunday 3/15. But he could not get the delivery changed to pickup at Fremont Hub. Got the loan approved after that and subscribed to Tesla insurance.

Is there supposed to be an estimated delivery date on the web page? I have never seen an estimated date, I ordered on 2/13.

Great, the wait is finally coming to an end! Where were you supposed to pick your Model 3 originally from?

I took delivery yesterday and drove already 96 miles here is my timeline and experience.

Feb.4th- Went to Pasadena showroom to test a M3P. They didn't have it so I drove a LR. Placed ordered.
Feb.5th- Got the Welcome text from Tesla
Feb 24th- Text from Tesla Delivery 4-6 weeks
March 9th- Text from Tesla Delivery 2-3 Weeks.
March 9th- VIN in source
March 11th- Text from Tesla to schedule delivery. Scheduled March 13th
March 13th- Took delivery at Tesla Burbank

Here is my experience and thoughts of all of this.
Let me start off the lack of communication . Our SA should have the right to tells us when a specific build is going to make so they won't have us in the dark. Oh we can't help you because you have no VIN. Well can you at least when it's going to be build? No, Tesla does batches . Just wait late March. That frustrated me the most. TMC has a better answer than your SA can give you. Once I got my VIN, everything happened quick! Delivery text, loan, and all the virtual paperwork you do on your Tesla account. When I arrived the DC Burbank, it was busy. No space to park your trade in. I had to park across the street at a harbor freights parking lot. Once you are inside, you get checked it just a little before your appointment time. You sign about 4-5 documents. I skipped the orientation because I watched countless videos on the Model 3. A specialist will show your car and then you are off to drive! This was the most easiest and simplistic thing I ever did when purchasing a car. I hated waiting hours at a typical dealership. The car is amazing, i did an inspection with a list. Everything came out perfect. No paint issues, panels were aligned, & nothing was missing. I did alot of 0-60 pulls later in the day and this car is so amazing! Other than the wait, its very exiting when you take a delivery. It was me knowing I had the first generation xbox under the xmas tree, but not opening til xmas lol.

Goodluck to everyone!!
