Will be interesting to see what they announce on AI day (8/19). I'm pickin up my car on the 17th but also have FSD so if they update the FSD computer I'm hoping they will update mine for free since I purchased FSD (they have in the past). Those that subscribe will have to purchase the new computer though if one comes out.

So I ended up calling the SC in Savannah and they were able to just go ahead and schedule me. He said the vehicle will arrive Sunday and I can pick it up Tuesday the 17th. Beyond excited.
Scheduled my pickup for the 19th and of course all of my plans fell apart two hours later and I can not make the trip now. My SA said Paramus does not have the room to hold onto the car for three extra days to pick it up the next Monday. Looks like I may have to give it up and see if I can get back in the queue.
Similar not and assuming myself the same thing. lol
I’m guessing our cars get made this week and we get the VIN one wonderful afternoon.

Too funny I just got the same email at 9:02pm EST and was about to post the same question! Blue Model 3 performance with black interior and FSD. Ordered 7/16, Marina Del Rey CA.

BUT... now says delivery in 6-8 weeks. Hopefully after I submit payment info it will change. EDD was 8/11-8/18 last night.

I HAVE A VIN! Still processing this, it’s almost time. Although with a VIN assigned it’s showing 5-8 weeks delivery. I’m sure that’s not accurate as prior to VIN assignment this morning I was at 8/25-9/02

Woke up this morning to a 'Schedule your delivery' text. Logged on to find the vision acknowledgement, submit final payment and a VIN. My delivery window is 8/10 - 8/14.
