I have exciting news! I am hoping as I catch up I see more people with good news as well. I had taken a few weeks off from the forum as life got in the way and just the checking everyday so I was on page 704 and see we are up to 746 pages but I have received a VIN!!!!

Edit: checked reddit. Looks like the VINs that went out today were our Florida brethren mostly.
Also had to resubmit for my loan. Rates bumped from 2.74 to 3.24%. texted my SA to switch to cash as I'll prob use DCU. I need a VIN before starting that process, correct? I have my account opened there already.

UPDATE: VIN Assigned!!
I did not receive a text or anything informing me of this. But the app allowed for me to make final payment and update insurance info.

Correct, delivery date has not been scheduled, but I am able to progress though the "make final payment" tab on the app.

I’m hesitant on the final pay because I want to use the local credit union. I guess I can make the payment and show up with a check for the rest through my credit union no? Or am I better off refinancing it after the deal goes through.

I did bring a couple of microfiber cloths, but nothing but rubbing alcohol. I am going to try a basic ceramic coat this weekend and want to keep it fresh.
I don't think you can just show up with a check. You have to pay from your bank to Tesla using their online Plaid system (at least that I was what I had to do).

How about cash? I was thinking of showing up with a duffle bag full of cash in exchange for the car
