Do they waive the delivery fee if you do that? Did the SA indicate it helps any?

I just texted my SA calling out the fact that we got bumped obviously so they could maximize there quarter and that they could at least give us a realistic delivery date not just push our EDD back 2 months. Bullshit

.07818555 here but there is a monthly service charge of $22.50 that needs to be calculated in the overall numbers. Most of you probably have something like that too.

Didn’t find out on either. I just asked to pick up at the factory in case they have my build ready and can’t ship it in time to another buyer. Good call out on the delivery fee, I certainly shouldn’t have to pay for that but this is Tesla so…
I am worried that would get them to push it even farther back trying to maximize deliveries in the quarter since they could build your car on the 29th and have you pick it up on the 30th. But who knows cause they don’t communicate *sugar*
That is a required charge. I asked. Even if you pick it up at the factory you still pay it unfortunately
You lucky duck. Seeing everyone getting VINs and delivery dates is driving me nuts. I'm expecting mine will show up any day now but the wait is killing me.

I was there I kept wishing I ordered in January and February so I could have gotten it sooner. But no it came when it came and when it was meant to come. It's been an emotional roller coaster of deciding to sell or trade in my 2014 Lancer Evo and put it towards the Tesla but one day that car will be more valuable than the Tesla so I gotta keep it.
Getting close and much faster than I thought it would.

I talked to my SA yesterday to change my pick up location. My EDD is 6/21 -6/26. He was able to change it without altering the delivery window because he said my car was in "Early Transit Planning Stage." Interesting that you're already starting your window and you haven't gotten a text to schedule. Have you already done your financing?
