Very nice! Did you find any issues with it?
No, it was perfect to my eyes. The detailer did notice a small hair under the paint when inspected in the clean room, but even when they showed me I could barely see it. No rattles or gremlins so far, though still not many miles. Build quality seems as good as any premium German car I have had in the past.

better than any other m3 model...
Thank You!

OD: May 7th, 2022 - M3 LR, White, Black, No FSD, Cash, No Trade-in, SoCal
App EDD at OD: Sept-November
6/4 - EDD Sept-Oct
6/6 Modified order to M3P, White, Black, FSD, Cash, No Trade-in, Socal

From what I read on this forum, FSD move you up towards the front of the line? I am hoping actual delivery will be June -Aug🤞🤞.
The app still show EDD Sept-Nov. Asked my SA, he said it takes up to a week for EDD to be updated on the Appo_O

Hi again everyone! I just wanted to chime in one last time to say farewell and to offer some encouragement for all those still waiting. Hang in there, your time will come, and in retrospect, it won't seem like it was so long once you're driving your new cars.

I just picked up my car from the detailer after waiting for my appointment and then for the actual work to be done. I got a full PPF wrap (including headlights and taillights) plus 15% window tint on the side and rear/top-rear glass. I left the windshield and top-front glass untinted. I'm very happy with the end result. Oh, and I had them leave all the badges off since I'm probably going to replace them (at least the T emblems) with matte black to match the window trim and door handles. Although I do kind of like the cleaner look of zero badges. I may try it out that way for a while and see if I can live with it. It will certainly simplify cleaning and waxing.

Speaking of which, per my detailer, I'm OK to wax the car tomorrow, so that's my current plan. Wax, then mud flaps and Rain-X, and I'll be good to go!

P. S. After a total of 3 drives (pickup from SC to bring the car home, then the drives to and from the detailing shop) I'm super happy with the car so far. It's a blast to drive. It occurred to me that it feels like I've activated some kind of cheat code while driving. IDDQD (Mash the accelerator pedal).

Tesla page currently showing June-Aug 2022 for M3P. How reliable is the EDD?
Hmm, let's see. It said June-August when I ordered on June 2. The next day it changed to August 1st-September 5th. My car was built June 5th. I received a VIN on June 6th. It left the factory June 8th. My EDD is now June 21-27.

So far the June-August date has been reliable for me. But for whatever reason my process is going much faster than the norm.

Did you get FSD I ordered May 23 but don’t have a vin yet and I’m in Texas if that makes a difference

I wonder how they decide what order to fulfill then cause my SA said it’s by order date and not tasks completion which I’ve already completed all the tasks I needed too a week ago
It's definitely not by tasks completed. I think they do it by trims. My assumption is that they build them in batches--Gray/white, white/white, blue/white one week. Red/black, blue/black, white/black next week, etc. I think I just lucked out and picked the right specs right as they were beginning to build that batch.
