So far every car has still come with a mobile connector. However, according to this article, that was only applying to cars built up until August 14 (a few days ago) and cars built after that date will be getting a promo code to use instead: Tesla issuing $200 promo codes instead of providing Mobile Connectors

Interesting. I also purchased a mobile connector when I ordered my car but it hasn’t shipped. i hope Tesla starts fulfilling the back orders.
Hah, not for people like me and a few others in here who are watching those who ordered after us already taking and scheduling delivery while we don't even have a 2 week window yet.
Although again, a ~2 month delivery these days for a M3P is still wicked fast compared to most other car companies. The Escalade I ordered back in January still hasn't even been accepted by the factory yet and dealer has no clue when it will be. F-150 Lighting, Rivian, and Lucid owners don't even know what year they'll be taking delivery compared to us who in here wondering what week.
New EDD today: 8/29 - 9/26. Doesn't look like I'll be getting a visit from cousin VINny anytime soon!

Got a text saying the car was just built and left the factory. Kind of worries me a bit, since I absolutely cannot take delivery before September 1st. Hopefully the shipping is very slow. Also no idea where I would be picking it up, but I suppose the agent will let me know at some point.

Wow, they did the same thing to you that they did to me a couple weeks ago. Location is pretty close too. I hope both of our EDD windows bounce back soon!

I imagine you’ve tried this already. In case you haven’t, consider calling your financial institution and asking if they will extend your loan terms for 90 days. Worked for us, so fingers crossed.Still no movement today...Hoping for a VIN soon. My financing offer expires tomorrow.

It is normal, you will get it during the 2 week window, even before the 2 week window, it can be random at times. They take into your OD, location and specifications into consideration for when assigning a VIN.
