Has anyone had this show up in the Dashboard?
This showed up in mine today. Its also still scrounging parts My delivery date is Week of March 10th or sooner

"One of our Delivery Specialists will contact you to schedule your delivery time". Show's in my Dashboard
I never saw that, but that is what happened in practice - they call you or email to work out an agreed time. This must be a new status.

Doubt Tesla would pull something like that, but it wouldn't hurt to take note of your mileage at pickup...

How many miles is normally on them when you pick it up? I thought I heard somewhere that they put 50 on it at the factory test track, is that true? I have always considered anything over 100 to no longer be a "new" car and demanded to make any car I have bought from a dealership be less than that. So I was just curious what the standard is?

I have two more pictures they are not that good

Well, when I picked mine up it had 28km on it, so about 18 miles.

The bill of sale states that the odometer is not to exceed 100 kms.

YES! I just checked and my dashboard says:

In Production
The Tesla Factory is building your Model S.
Congrats! Exciting no? Not sure what building happens on the weekend but should be done by Monday or Tuesday.

That looks great to me. It's hard to photograph the cars in the bright area they reflect so much. Where is the second pic?

exciting!

Also, does the factory work on Sat, or is there a delay in the dashboard updating?

IIRC they are running 7 days a week right now. They were talking about it in an interview where he said factory workers were putting in 70-80 hour of work a week. They said this would not sustain so at some point they would be dropping it down to no more than 60, that almost HAS to include weekend hours when you are at work for that long in one weeks time.

I haven't updated my information in a while, but here's what's going on with my order.

I got a confirmation date of March 4, after having ordered on December 6, but I got an email Friday from the delivery specialist and now my pickup is pushed back to March 10.

That definitely sucks, but I got some good news today as my car went into production on the website at around 1 p.m.

EDIT: My original pickup date was March 4, not the confirmation date.

I heard the same thing but it was in an interview in January, 2013- after the push to end the Q4 with strong build rates. They run M-F, two shifts per day now making about 120-125 per day. However, if you guys are getting Saturday messages about going into production, who knows. Maybe they are now doing computer batch updates on the weekend to send them down the line on Monday morning. One way to add production output is to run some work on Saturday.
