Model S Order & Delivery Tracker - Q1 2014

So, how long does it take to get a Model S from Fremont, CA to Costa Mesa, CA? Can't be more than a day or two. My scheduled pick up is one week from today. I can free up my schedule to pick it up tomorrow, Saturday, Sunday...gotta call my DS.

Approx. two hours later...just got off the phone with my DS in Costa Mesa...Pick up scheduled for 10AM Saturday! Only two sleepless nights left!

Congratz! These days/hours will be the longest!

Production complete today! Still no word on transport though, so don't know if it will make the April 28th delivery date.

Nice! It was one of the longer builds, so your car got taken extra care of.

VINs everywhere overnight! I was assigned 41635. Still showing "June" but I got a note from the delivery specialist saying "first half of June is likely" so let's see.

This is the worst part of the wait in my view - still too early to sort financing or anything, nothing interesting on the Tesla website, but tons of questions from friends: "When are you getting the car?" haha...

Wow! What else can one say? I put about 130 miles on my Model S today. From home, we went to the Supercharger in Hawthorne for quick "fill up". Just had to check it out. From there, I took my daughter shopping on Robertson in Beverly Hills, then hit the hills - Laurel Canyon, Mullholland Drive, before cruising back home. It is so much fun to drive...even in the traffic jam on the 101. The touch screen is amazing, very intuitive. And not at all distracting. I absolutely love this car!
