Titanium Metallic. Too bad they axed it. A PLAID would look ace with this!

Such a gorgeous color. I see a few around here (Teslas are common enough), but no other P90D's.

If this was going to be kept long, long term I would probably do the bumper refresh. I've seen one with the newer bumpers, and they look a lot nicer (in my opinion). Front end aside, love it : )

My P90D. New wheels are in transit and will post when installed.

Hello everyone. I just purchased this 2015 P85D yesterday. I was told it was 1 of 15 cars that were sold to wealthy individuals that year, and the previous owner was an original investor in TSLA. (the 2 Google founders were also purchasers in this group of 15) It was a factory paint job in Foose Terracuda Pearl, $12,500 option. After purchase, the seller told me he was approached by the Tesla employee who painted the car. The employee saw the advertisement and recognized the paint and wanted ot purchase the car, but could not afford it.

If anyone knows anything about the above, please pass along. Once it clears up outside, I'll take some nice pics for posting.

Definitely not worth the original OEM price for a Tesla-quality paint job. ;)

I remember seeing that one for sale - crazy, wild price for paint.

Here's the thread I started after I found the listing two months ago - Not my car - 2015 P85D in very unique color
Sometimes you just have to splurge...and Oh BTW, I don't think the original owner thought about the cost for a second.
I thought about it for a couple days. I drove a 15 Black ludicrous that had 70k miles before this one. I paid extra for the paint and the lower miles IMO.
The issue for me becomes when I sell the car, finding that right buyer, but that won't be for a long time.
I'm pretty stoked. Nice to drive around a one off car, that isn't white, black, or gray. I did see some really cool colors on here though. Nice cars everyone.

I haven’t seen many interior shots on this thread, and I don’t have any exterior shots that are a patch on what the rest of you are posting, so here’s the newly re-trimmed steering wheel in my 2017 S!

What do you guys think? It’s all nappa, but perforated on the sides and the stripe in nappa at 12 o’clock.

Nice work... where did you have it done?
