What the trunk looks like is of little import when the headlights will be soooooo much better. Come on, Tesla. Let's get this official already. Body-colored trunk or black trim - don't care. Just make it official.

are you thinking you will be able to switch the headlights from your current S? i'm curious to know your thoughtsWhat the trunk looks like is of little import when the headlights will be soooooo much better. I can see that - it’d add a little bit of balance for sure. Would like to see in other colors tooWow, that looks way worse than the current design. Maybe its better with the CF spoiler for contrast?
AFAIK the current bar is plastic. I would assume no difference on this part.Is it just me of does it look like the strip is plastic rather than metal? The red colour doesn’t exactly match the metallic red on the trunk. Hmmm it’s a shade odd or slight variance in colour which is usually what we see from bumper to metal fenders.
So with black a lot easier to hide Color diff. As was with chrome prior version. This is not going to fair well I think…AFAIK the current bar is plastic. I would assume no difference on this part.
Fwiw it looked ok in person - didn't really stand out to my eyes as being "different". So long as they manage to paint it properly it'll probably look fine - early white Model 3s come to mind, with their weirdly yellow bumper covers...Is it just me of does it look like the strip is plastic rather than metal? Almost looks cheap…no…it def looks cheap.
Would love if he posted a source...Thanks, @Muzzman1 , it looks like the refresh will be shipping late this month/next month, apparently...
Believe it when it happens, of course!
His sources are inside Tesla, so he can't really do that lol.a

I'm quite sure we'll know soon.Waiting... waiting... waiting...
I'm quite sure we'll know soon.
(You can put this in your sig if you want lol as the newest quote)
Not really lol. I've said the same thing in the past!Ohhhh, you're quite sure now? You've upped the ante!

I agree.. Here is my quick attempt to see what that might look like.Probably is. I think the S rear end looks so bare without the spoiler.
Well do we really know it has the old lights, or is that just a generic render that hasn't been updated yet? This looks great. I'll definitely install a spoiler on my LR.
I found an inventory car manufactured yesterday (Feb 14) that still has the old lights unfortunately.
