My DS did not know why other May 6 confirmations are in production or complete. She said mine would enter production June 30. Of course that could change. Sure hope they finish before the July shutdown. I guess I won't be checking my dashboard 20 times a day for another week.

I'm also a confirmation on May 6 (for an S85) but don't expect delivery until late July. If the car isn't produced in June, delivery will be put off until mid-August, I suppose. I'm not in a hurry. Good thing, because the country I'm in seems at the bottom of Tesla's priorities, even though I'm closer to California than the US east coast. Also, P85s get priority over S85s.

I confirmed my order on Monday, June 16th, delivery estimated for "late September". I have seen rumors that P85 gets some priority treatment, I wonder how much time would that shave off... If I would be able to get it early August, I might consider changing to p85.

I'm guessing you couldn't shave off nearly two months by changing your order. You could, however, fly to California and pick the car up there :smile: --- that might reduce the wait by nearly a month, since shipments to T-O take rather a long time --- and have loads of fun driving it back…including getting it through Customs.

Really??? May 5 confirmations in your area (ajw) have already been delivered. Something is wrong. I'm sure you were given a July delivery when you ordered.

I've been informed the factory shutdown starts July 21, not at the beginning of the month.

I ordered on June 28, confirm date is July 11. The Tesla web site gave an October estimate for pick-up when I ordered. But the delivery specialist just emailed and offered a September 24 pick-up date. September sounds a lot better than October, even if it's near the end of the month. Can't wait!

You might want to confirm now instead of waiting till the 11th. That usually improves delivery.

You might want to confirm now instead of waiting till the 11th. That usually improves delivery.

Yeah, I didn't want to delay any longer than needed. On the other hand, I've been agonizing over several choices - colors, upgraded sound, and super-charging. I *think* I have decided on colors and decided to get both the upgraded sound and super-charging (funny how thinking on this stuff almost always results in deciding you need the upgrades ). So I may click that Confirm button today.

Dang. That makes "late September" sound pretty accurate for my June 16 S85 confirmation. Everyone hopes for sooner of course, but I travel probably 75% of October and November. Not sure if I want to take delivery and start making payments on a car that will be sitting at the airport for almost 2 months. I've thought about delaying delivery in that case, and taking delivery at the Austin service center on my way back home for the holidays. But part of me would prefer to have some experience with my car before jumping into RV park charging and long drives (which it would take to get from Austin to Lubbock).

I am in the same situation, still listed as "Late September" -- confirmed on June 16th. I got the name and email of my delivery specialist from the person in the show-room who handled my test drive, but I had no reply from the DS despite me sending 3 emails already asking about possibilities of earlier delivery (e.g. how much effect would it have if I changed my order to Performance model).
