looks like these are the new vehicle commands for valet mode
/vehicles/{id}/command/reset_valet_pin
/vehicles/{id}/command/set_valet_mode
{
"on": boolean
"password", string
}
I haven't tested them yet.
Also calls to /vehicles/{id}/data_request/vehicle_state now returns valet mode info:
{
...
valet_mode: boolean,
valet_pin_needed: boolean
...
}
I guess it is not strictly 'api', but has anyone looked at the android app comms to see where the data is being pulled from for the referral contest?
Received firmware update today to v6.2-2.5.36
vehicles now returns a new field "id_s":"4622949617468527185" The existing field "id" is still there and has the same value as "id_s" Not sure what this is for.
Perhaps "id_s" a string and "id" is an integer? This would avoid the whole bigint rounding issues in Javascript and some other languages.
I've also noticed that the id value is different than it was for my car last week. I thought it was a persistent value? Does is normally rotate like that?
Did the client ID and secret just change again? I'm getting 401 whenever I try to login to get a bearer token...
FYI: I just released a teslajson class for Python. I did this because pytesla was no longer working for me. You can find it at https://github.com/gglockner/teslajson. Comments & feedback welcome.
There is no know issue getting the power, speed and other data from the streaming api.
I use teslalog.com and have all that available in realtime.
