I saw my Cara "in production" via My Tesla page, then I waited 2 days and no response. So I emailed my Production/delivery guy, he followed up on it, and next day I got an email confirming "in production"Same for mine.

My 5 seat vin is in the 29xxx range and still no report/picture of actual 5 seater being deliveredNope, that wouldn't explain it either. When 5 seaters configured, they just sat without a vin, waiting for one to be assigned, some for over a year. Then, once they could start working on them they started assigning those vins in sequential order (this happened about a month ago). Again, doesn't mean they built those cars in vin order, just meant they felt they were in a position to start slotting the orders into the factory so they were assigned vins. They are being built and delivered now. End result is people who ordered 5 seaters a year ago are now being assigned vins in the 28xxx range.
You are correct, didn't mean to suggest any deliveries occurred yet, just that they waited until they felt they were in a position to build them before assigning vins. It's not like they assigned u a vin right away upon ordering or left a gap for 5 seaters. My 5 seat vin is in the 29xxx range and still no report/picture of actual 5 seater being delivered

Good question. Mine says the same and I'm as confused as you are.Interestingly, MyTesla now says my car is still in production even though I got an email my car was complete. Tesla really needs to get its notification system together. How hard can that be?
Yours is done?! Oh man making me more excited to hear that mine will be done soonGood question. Mine says the same and I'm as confused as you are.
I'm guessing it is. Got the email last night saying production was complete and car was being prepared for delivery. Delivery to occur between 12/14 and 12/28. You should be getting something real soon.Yours is done?! Oh man making me more excited to hear that mine will be done soon
You and I both now! I have not gotten any email nor has my specialist gotten back. I'm pretty annoyed at how inconsistent everything is going.... other than that the only new thing is MyTesla now shows it's still in production. @HookBill and @polymathic how long were you guys in production? Mines officially been 9 days now.Yours is done?! Oh man making me more excited to hear that mine will be done soon
Any word if yours completed? Or is it in production still?@pchengMX @hollywood I hear what you're saying. Nothing seems to be in sync with Tesla right now. I'm also getting three different stories but I'm going with what I'm being told via email 1st, phone 2nd, and myTesla last. I predict that anyone in this thread who ordered before November will definitely take delivery of their vehicle before 2016 ends.
Change of plans for my pick up. Getting it on Wednesday now. I'll post pics when I get it!
