Model X December Deliveries

Nope, that wouldn't explain it either. When 5 seaters configured, they just sat without a vin, waiting for one to be assigned, some for over a year. Then, once they could start working on them they started assigning those vins in sequential order (this happened about a month ago). Again, doesn't mean they built those cars in vin order, just meant they felt they were in a position to start slotting the orders into the factory so they were assigned vins. They are being built and delivered now. End result is people who ordered 5 seaters a year ago are now being assigned vins in the 28xxx range.
My 5 seat vin is in the 29xxx range and still no report/picture of actual 5 seater being delivered

You are correct, didn't mean to suggest any deliveries occurred yet, just that they waited until they felt they were in a position to build them before assigning vins. It's not like they assigned u a vin right away upon ordering or left a gap for 5 seaters.

Not sure if I believe it but this now shows on My Tesla Page:

Never even got a message it was in production.

So went to the Tesla store in the mall to play with the Model X. Spoke with one of the sales rep and he said that cars for our Service Center come in trucks.
Also interesting thing the person mentioned was that the cars go through a lot inspecting and testing after they arrive at the SC. So the car could be at the service center but has to go through Tesla testing since it got put on a truck/train right after production. Not sure how accurate but thought I pass the info along.

Refreshing the MyTesla page 10+ times per day is getting annoying (even though it's fun every time).
So if you're in the same position, I found a Chrome extension that will monitor specific pieces of text on a web page, and notify you of changes (seems like notifications are in-browser only):

Check out "Spectator - monitor web page changes!": Spectator - monitor web page changes!

I set it to watch the text after "What's Next" (e.g. "Your Tesla is currently in production") and the "Estimated Delivery Range: December 13, 2016 - December 27, 2016"

We'll see if it works

last month we decided to trade up our 2015 model S 85D to a 90D X before the end of the year to capture the unlimited Super charging. we ordered Midnight Silver, 6 seat, Enhanced Autopilot, Full Self-Driving Capability, Premium Upgrades Package, Smart Air Suspension, Included Ultra High Fidelity Sound, Subzero Weather Package, Towing Package

placed order: 11/23/16
confirmed: 11/25/16
entered production according to my Tesla: today 12/11/16

We are keeping our fingers crossed for a December delivery! the cold weather and snowy passes have us on the edge of our seat about possible delivery delays. this is not our first Tesla and somehow we are even more excited, all over again! being higher up off the ground, more headroom, open view, a third row of seats that are more functional long term than the S's jump seats and the ability to Tow, as well as a more reliable and functional auto pilot, are all reasons we decided to take the plunge, again. we are hoping that Tesla has worked out all the early teething pains.

Yours is done?! Oh man making me more excited to hear that mine will be done soon :D
You and I both now! I have not gotten any email nor has my specialist gotten back. I'm pretty annoyed at how inconsistent everything is going.... other than that the only new thing is MyTesla now shows it's still in production. @HookBill and @polymathic how long were you guys in production? Mines officially been 9 days now.

@pchengMX @hollywood I hear what you're saying. Nothing seems to be in sync with Tesla right now. I'm also getting three different stories but I'm going with what I'm being told via email 1st, phone 2nd, and myTesla last. I predict that anyone in this thread who ordered before November will definitely take delivery of their vehicle before 2016 ends.
Any word if yours completed? Or is it in production still?
