Keep in mind that several attempts by 2 different SC to align my FWDs resulted in scratches from the rear glass to the rear quarter black trim on each side, as they couldn’t be bothered to use masking tape. 2 rear quarter window replacements later and a 3rd redone by a body shop as one was done terribly with visible urethane, I hope to not touch anything for as long as I own the car. Make sure to ask them to use plenty of masking tape on the jam and rear quarter glass if a SC accepts it for adjustments

Same thing. My fix is Door Ease. It's a lubricating Wax Stick. I rub it on the wear through areas. It has stopped further wear. Will not damage the paint. Also can be used to help prevent the doors from freezing shut by putting a thin coat on the seals before winter.
