Model X June Deliveries

Well, here's something you don't see often on the Model X forums. A delivery specialist called to say my east coast 90D is ahead of schedule. I ordered in May and was told to expect a July delivery back then. That's now been bumped up to June.

The car recently made it to the Connecticut transfer facility and is going into quality control this week. I've heard of a few 50 to 60 day turnarounds in California. I find it a bit shocking for a east coast delivery. So many people have waited so long. Bizarre but awesome. I hadn't even contacted the delivery specialist yet as I assumed it would be another month before a realistic delivery.

Meanwhile, my Bay Area 90D, ordered in April, has not yet entered production.

This gives me hope that I'll actually get my X in July...

I spoke to my DS on the phone today and have learned that I will no longer be getting my MX in June. Although my car has finished production. I'll start posted in the July delivery thread shortly.

For other Greater Toronto Area (Ontario, Canada) MX members this is what I was told:
The first shipment of Toronto (Lawrence E location) was received yesterday or the day before but they were still unloading the truck. Only Signatures arrived. They still have to do some Canadian inspections as well as some software updates at the SC before they get delivered.

For my productions 90D, my DS "pinged" my car and it pinged back, which means it is built but is currently going through inspections and testing. It should be ready for delivery to Toronto, Canada in a week or so. Production has slowed down on the MX as they are working to ensure minimal "issues" with the cars. I was told that shipping can take up to 4 weeks to Eastern Canada depending on whether it goes by Train or by truck. The mode of delivery depends on how many cars they have ready to go when it comes time to ship my MX.

My Vin is 764X. Confirmed March 19, 2016.

Today must be the notification day. I got a call from my DS this afternoon. She told me my MX is on its way to local service center. We have a pickup appointment at 4:00 PM this Friday. VIN 71xx, 90D
I had called and left a VM for my DS. I've been itching to get an update all weekend, but tried my best not to bug him too much. Today (Wednesday), I couldn't wait! :p

So, ladies and gentlemen we're finally the proud owners of a Model X. We picked it up yesterday morning and it is an unbelievable piece of automotive engineering. Quiet as can be, and surprisingly smooth. The subtle blue hues of metalflake in the paint make it glitter at just the right angles. Other than some minor trim tweaks, it is perfect. The only thing that I don't like is waiting 24 hours for the MyTesla app' to become functional.

As per your tesla app.. I recently was educated as to why this happens. You used to be able to sign into your app a few days before delivery, but too many people who were giddy for their new toys erm, cars would honk their horns or turn their lights on and off while the car was in transit via truck. Caused some headaches

Or summon while the car is on the truck

Wish my garage can be that clean. I am counting on my MX to park itself into its space.

So I was told today that my x is ready for transport. I talked to my local SC today to buy the Chademo adapter and I asked if they had been delivering many x's lately and what condition they were in. She told me they have been very busy this month already delivering mostly X's. She did say early on they had to spend a lot of time to take care of the issues we have been reading about but the ones coming in now look in her words Awesome. She said a little tweak here or there but nothing like it was. can anyone let me know what their delivery time was on the east coast from pickup in CA?

Here's what my DS said on June 7:
"It looks like your vehicle will be going into production in the next 2 weeks. Once that happens I will be sure to reach out and update you."

This coming Tuesday will be two weeks since I received that message. Longest two weeks of my life!
