Well, it's still great news and good to now have a date!

My car has been in transit from the factory to port for the last 13 days! But my delivery is supposed to happen June - beginning of July
I had a call today from my DS: My car was loaded on a vessel last Friday and will arrive in Antwerp next week. She asked me to block June 20-30 for delivery. My Tesla account also still says „in transit to port“. I guess your car is on the same boat.

I ordered on 4/19
Confirmed on 4/23
Got my vin on 5/5
Should i be going into production 2-3 days later since your vin was on 5/3 ?

I honestly don't know how this process works, I just wanted to share what I experienced. You should email your delivery specialist, he/she would know a lot better than me or some other randoms on the internet. Good luck with the car!

Awesome! Thanks a lot for the heads up!

I’m actually in California right now. Will be flying back to Switzerland tomorrow and I will try to get a some info out of my DS once I get back.

My car completed production on 5/17/2018...
Estimated delivery dates have jumped (initially June 12, then changed to June 4 and now it is June 14th.)
Supply Chain involves the use of railroads which is not the most predictable/consistent transportation mode.

Where do you guys see the estimated delivery date? Mine completed production 3 days ago and still says in transit.

Ok, so my DS tried to call me and finally sent an email with basically the same information you got on the phone. He said delivery could take place between half and end of June.

My status has also changed to “on a vessel to Europe”.

Checked in with my Delivery Advisor today and I'm further out than I was hoping for, she said it's still a couple weeks before I can expect to start production. Ordered 3/23, VIN 4/28.

Here's to hoping they upgrade something random in the meantime. Maybe the charging system will get a boost since they're talking bout supercharger v3s and since there's such a backlog on the black wall-chargers. :p. (I don't actually expect that).

Just scheduled my delivery for 6/26th after receiving the VIN on 5/3. My delivery specialist also said that theres a good chance it might be delayed and be pushed to July. Hopefully I get it before July, I want to show off the car at the next family reunion on July 4th :D

Our DS sent an e-mail over the weekend, indicating our car could go into production sometime in the next several weeks.

Seems strange that the window was that large at this point - unless there's another factor impacting production - such as waiting for parts to be delivered, or they are getting close to the 200K threshold and still working out which US vehicles will be delivered in Q2 and stay under 200K.

While our DS has been helpful - what we saw last year when we placed our S 100D order was that the DS didn't always have the most up-to-date information. We had 3 information sources to rely on during the order, production & delivery process - Tesla Account page, DS, and e-mails from Tesla. And those three sources weren't always in sync - and the DS wasn't always the most up-to-date.

For our S 100D, the car went into production faster than expected - was delivered to the local Service Center faster than expected, so at this point, wouldn't be surprised to see our car show up anytime between next week and mid-to-late July. Still hoping sooner, before we take several family vacations next month...
