The word around the campfire is that the Model Y, Tesla's future mini SUV to be built on the Model 3 skateboard with have Falcon Wing doors like the Model X. My feeling is that for several reasons, i.e. manufacturing speed, speed of operation (Falcon wing doors simply aren't as fast to use as conventional doors) and cost, Tesla should stick with conventional rear doors on this future vehicle. I put it to the Forum: Model Y Falcon Wing doors, YEA OR NAY?
