Definitely maybe. So what's the verdict after the drama in this thread? Are the LR Vins real or not?
Why can't one of the VIN owners just take a video of them opening the app on their phone and showing the vin?Definitely maybe.
You have to remove a lot of the interior to to drop a 2170 pack as well...Is that after removing all the seats, carpeting, heating ducting, low voltage wiring, and trim?
They actually come out easier than you may thinkYou have to remove a lot of the interior to to drop a 2170 pack as well...
Of course it’s removable. There are 81 steps to remove everything from the top of the battery and then another 62 steps to remove from vehicle. It is removable. I am looking at the service manual with pictures now! =)
Yes, and it's not what I would call easy. You have to remove a lot of the interior to to drop a 2170 pack as well...
This is not easy, even though they are removing some extra things that aren't necessary for only pack removal:They actually come out easier than you may think
The issue is, is it a MYLR with 4680's or 2170's? I'm not even sure there is a way to show what's actually physically in the car without hoisting a MYAWDSR and a MYLR from Austin and compare the packs (from the exterior only, obviously). I mean, the 4680 is taller than the 2170 so I would assume the pack would be thicker as well. Isn't there a sticker hidden underneath the car somewhere that shows which batteries are being used?I was mulling over whether it is possible to prove at this time that VINs are going out for MIA Model LR.
I think the phone app shows the VIN and RN on one screen, while the website provides a sale document that links RN to car specs.
Ha me too. Tesla already withdrew nearly $60k from my checking account for my fake car. Delivery scheduled for Thursday afternoon. Interesting that they are delivering in Houston before Austin. I wonder if they actually had to ship them out of state before delivering in Texas?View attachment 820927
