Maybe it’s a surprise launch and we will all be getting upgraded performance model yWhat? You mean a few cold cocktail sausages a cup of watered down coffee and maybe a Tesla swag bag with a black t-shirt for a 6 Yr old doesn't count as special.

I've put the question to Tesla generically so if they come back to me open to the suggestion we can maybe share RNs (and your VIN) privately somehow and get back to them. But I'm not even sure I'm going to get a March registration - worst case is it will be late Feb which will suit neither of us!Indeed, would happily swap (definitely need a March registration) but not sure there is a way to do that. My order is identical to yours
I spoke to a Tesla rep on a test drive and was told that the Y was registered at the DVLA last week so insurers can now start adding it to their systems. He expected that to take a couple of weeks.Quick one - has anybody had insurance quote yet ? Nobody has Model Y available to get quotes against yet. (Yes tried direct line and model y isn’t showing on system)
A colleague of mine went to a Mclaren club event atWith my "special" being Aerodrome Bristol I am hoping I can drive it down the runway
I guess that the majority of the delivery costs relate to shipping from Shanghai, with only a small proportion for dock to delivery point.I see on the Purchase agreement a Delivery and First Registration fee of £935. As they would no longer be delivering the car would it be fair to ask for part of this fee to be deducted?
That's based on being offered a collection in Southampton 19th February 22 which would cost me an estimated £200 in travel expenses and an 8-9 hour round trip!
What about the delivery cost from Shanghai? Unless you travel to China to pick it up, you shouldn't expect a partial refund!I see on the Purchase agreement a Delivery and First Registration fee of £935. There is a UK delivery cost element though, which you are being charged for and not receiving.I guess that the majority of the delivery costs relate to shipping from Shanghai, with only a small proportion for dock to delivery point.
That's obviously correct. Approach being we'll make the car in the part of the world where labour costs are cheapest and then charge you the resultant delivery costs. What about the delivery cost from Shanghai? Unless you travel to China to pick it up, you shouldn't expect a partial refund!
Who would travel to shanghai to collect? What about the delivery cost from Shanghai? Unless you travel to China to pick it up, you shouldn't expect a partial refund!
Can you not pay in full, and not register, Tesla have your money, so why do they worry?
Alternatively, they build them in Southampton and reduce the delivery cost to £1, however they increase the overall cost due to labour. Would that be satisfactory? That's obviously correct. From the desperation and sometimes anger at the delivery dates that some are getting, it wouldn’t surprise if a few members here would!Who would travel to shanghai to collect?

And some may make it adventurous by driving back to UK from China. From the desperation and sometimes anger at the delivery dates that some are getting, it wouldn’t surprise if a few members here would!
I had some issues much earlier, and I believe someone has spoken to someone from Tesla and was told to just accept the offer and then email the higher quote received to [email protected] and they will review it.Has anyone had any luck using the stand-alone Tesla trade-in page to get a valuation added to their current order? After getting a price and saving it, web site says must be applied to an order within 7 days... but the valuation doesnt actually show up in my Tesla account.
Alternatively.. what page do have to lurk on for the chat support icon to appear?
