model3 pvb laminated glass retrofit

cost me about $600 ,it really makes a huge differences.
also upgrade my side mirror for Anti-glare one,the parts is about $60,have to make my own cable to active it。

Thank you for the info, but you're talking about a MIC Model 3? I hope we can get this done in the US.

The side mirror change was OEM or 3rd-party? Presumably 3rd-party since you had to make your own connection.

And can you take a pic of the mfr stamp on the side window glass?

oem ,you still have to make you own cable with oem 。all you need is two pin to insert in your oem morrior plug。

I don't see how the side laminated glass can make a significant difference. The majority of cabin noise seems to come from the frame and road surface with small amounts of wind noise coming from the roof.
I don't have first hand experience with the side laminated glass, but pay attention to the noise from oncoming traffic on a two-lane road. You'll be able to hear the other cars easily and even sense their location based on the sound. That's because the noise is coming directly through the windows to your ears.

Now imagine driving on an LA freeway with 4 lanes of opposing traffic buzzing by your left ear and you'll get a better idea of how this can help mitigate cabin noise.

Why would I pretend to be in LA? I live in NYC
