I do generally use 70 or 80%. The actual range is not diminishing because of that. You will actually have more usable range later in the car's life from less degradation of the energy capacity still in the battery. It is the indicator number on the display which is diminishing because it is developing a less accurate reading of the actual range. Does that make sense now?
