Mystery decal?

At the top of the windshield in front of the rear view mirror is this thing that looks like a decal but has sort of ribbon wiring-looking L shapes. No obvious connection to the car. Fraternity logo? Don't want to scrape it off if it's going to make the car disappear ... or something. Wizardly help, please.

You didn't give the year, but my model S has defrost wires in it. That looks like a clear defrost piece for the camera defrost with the wires attached in the black inner thingy. The outer black is masking to make it look good from the outside.

Looks to me like the left-overs from mounting something. Maybe a EZpass or radar detector?

Def an old toll tag - that would drive me crazy being off center and crooked.

I thought this was after the camera bezel was removed. If it is under the camera, yes, it is toll pass residue.

Looks like a partially removed RFID windshield tag, often used for parking lots or gated communities.
