I’m hoping so for your sake. I stopped by Nambe for them to look at a small paint chip I had. Super friendly staff there!Greetings! I placed my order for a M3P yesterday and was only given the option to pick up in Colorado Springs due to "current legislation". That's a 9 (11 with charging time) hour drive back for me as I'm in Las Cruces, big bummer! I wish they would disclose that information before placing the order. I asked if I could switch to El Paso and was advised the only way to pick up in El Paso is if the car is being registered in TX. So I asked if I could pick up in AZ, either Tucson or Phoenix, and no go. The app updated this morning to an estimated time frame of February 15-March 15. I called again this morning and the Tesla representative advised me that it is very likely that by time NM will doing deliveries again, so fingers crossed! Can anyone confirm that the referral program (1000 free miles) has indeed been put to bed sometime last year?
If you have to make the drive. It’s reallllly not bad and offers some beautiful scenery on the way home. Plus a chance to learn about super charging and check out all the ones between here and there! It really was a great road trip home. We have family in Santa Fe so that’s where we started from and then stayed on the way home to rest up and break up the drive into a few days just for fun. Be warned that the Albq supercharger seems to get filled solid. Often with a wait (there was a line of 5-8 cars the entire time I was there). So the more “off time” you can hit it would probably be better. I just used that time to check out some of the games, passed the time quickly.
Regarding the referral stuff. Yeah. It’s over. I think it’s just solar system price credits or something like that now. No more supercharging miles IIRC.
Excited for you to get your car! Still so few of them/us here in Cruces! Also hoping for more EV related events around here so we can all get together and check out each other’s cars!
