That link was posted earlier in this thread: Pictures of Model 3 from the reveal without commentary, so I was wasn't sure where and when those photos were taken. Thanks for the clarification.
I missed that thread so sorry for the repeat posting. Seem to get some details of the seats and other bits I've not noticed before.

But as this is a separate thread, we might as well discuss details about those photos here, I noticed this image i particular:
The section of different material (the glossy part) used in the lower window frame looks like it could be a place for sensors/cameras?
What do you think?

I noticed this prototype is somewhat upgraded:
- different steering wheel (now has two buttons)
- cup holders without covers
- body panels seems to be much better aligned
- ?

Well, no, the section I meant is on the outside bottom window frame, and apart from that I would think that electrochromic glass
would be a more elegant and less error-prone approach than mechanical blinders?

Agreed, I think this is testing out different finishes and how they hold up. Good catch though and interesting nonetheless.
It looks like the Model S steering wheel, with the two scroll buttons.

Yeah, I know, I know
But since they have to place the AP 2.0 cameras/sensors somewhere, the window frame might be a good place apart from the B-pillar like on the X/S.
Totally agree --- and am loving the interior's clean aesthetics --- those lines are so clean; me likey!

I just noticed that the brake pedal rubber is the III logo. Cool!

That interior is unbelievably minimalist. I have to think Unveil Pt.2 will solve that in whatever way. While this is the sort of thing you would expect for a self-driving interior, at least at first you'll still need to manually drive so looking down to the right while driving isn't great for that. Also I hope there will be a joystick option later on. More room and ultra-futuristic - while making perfect sense for self driving. Having it motorized/retractable would be a nice touch too.
