Drove past here on Sunday (06/10) afternoon and several (6?) of the spots were ICEd. Hopefully people don't get more bold to start blocking more. It was odd because the lot closest to the road directly out from the main entrance was nearly empty. I would think these spots would be more convenient. I left a "Blocked Charger" notice on a car parked in a Charge Point spot on Saturday but first time I think I have seen that.

Mall security can usually be found driving around - be sure to let them know when spots are ICEd. I'm not sure what, if anything, they do about it, but they should be told.

checked again today. no juice. That Mall security isnt the best... When I charged at ChargePoint they gave me a warning saying charging was for customers only. threatened to tow me. There are no signs anywhere stating that. Looking forward to the SC opening up.

That's pretty crazy. How do they know if you are or aren't a mall customer?

I emailed Springfield Town Center Management to see if they had a date. Here is the response:


Tesla is waiting on Dominion Power as the last step before activation. Tesla was expecting that they would be complete this week but we don't know if that will actually occur.

just found this thread. My order should be here sometime in July. What I found interesting is that the Tesla employee at Tysons said this location was live already. Great post and pictures in here.

We have several out in the South Riding and Pleasant Valley area. You should see us driving around.

They might, I haven't we talk off line some. I believe there is a local club or group that does meet up. No.VA> tesla group. someone else has the group noted on there profile tab. I just looked back through the thread and could not find the poster.

Just picked up my M3 today, and haven’t got an up or down on a charging station at my townhouse by the HOA. I really would like them to turn on the switch.

I’m in for a ribbon cutting even though I don’t have a Tesla yet. It’d be good to meet some of the other locals in the EV community.
