4 of us at the office have Model 3 AWD and they all got 46.2 within 10 min of each others. We were all on 42.X. Also I checked my WiFi history and there was no download of any firmware on my Model 3 in the last 30 days. So I think I got mine from OTA update.

No firmware updates in a while

One has to do with cold weather charging port or something, and since I am in SoCal, I didn't really read it. They also updated the Air Flow system... now you could combine the air flow and still have it aim to one side. You could do it before, but since version 9, they forced the air flow to split if you aim to one side.

I contacted support as it's been a month for me since last update. they said an update was pulled from my car last night due to bugs. This could explain why there is a gap for some of us.
Over the past two years, I've received 30 updates. The shortest time between updates on my car was 4 days. The longest was 60 days. The average has been 26 days.
