Non-P AWD with White Interior

Aug 9... didn't that still have the lower Delivery Fee of $1000 instead of the new $1200? I think I read that if you keep the same color, they are not going to charge you the extra $500, but what about the delivery fee? Would they raise it by $200 if you change your order now?

Nope- it was after the rate hike for both delivery and paint (I think they were at the same time- maybe Aug 1?). So that's not a factor. Just wondering if it will push out my delivery date due to any change. I wouldn't think so, but not sure I want to risk it. Although, sounds like changing to 18" wheels might help?

Changing to 18" wheels will likely help as all of the reported VINs for Non-P AWD w/ White Interior have 18" wheels. This is possibly due to batch building w/ the P3D- since they are identical from a hardware standpoint (there is evidence of this this through finding the similar VINs of non-P AWD & P3D- w/ white seats). I configured 19" wheels and still have the edit link. I'm actually hoping for a later build date so Tesla will have more time to work out the paint quality issues.

Something interesting I noticed was that 43% of the performance orders have the white interior. For the standard AWD that drops to 12%. With very few if any AWD orders delivered before they allowed the change it can't be that. Are standard AWD owners not picking it because of the price?

Looks like everyone posting ordered before me so I probably still have some time. I ordered AWD (non-P) in Blue with 19" wheels on Aug 9. Obviously, I haven't heard anything and don't expect to for a while. I'm guessing at least a month. But I'm thinking about adding EAP. Should I go ahead a do it while I still have the edit button? Or is that going to delay it more?

That shouldn't impact you, your original order was after the price increases, you have an edit button and I assume already have Oct-Dec timeframe. No guarantees but that should be a safe change based on all your other parameters

I assume it is because the P had white interior available when they opened it up. The non-P you had to update your order and I am guessing a lot of people didn't want to risk their place in line by editing the interior. I also think their are some decisions to be made on customization because if you upgrade your paint, wheels and interior you are getting really close to a price that would justify shifting to the P.

I think I read here that a few people ordered the P originally because it was the ONLY way to get white interior. A few of those probably switched to Non-P since.

I called today because I had a question about financing and she said I just got a delivery specialist assigned and will hear from them soon. Congrats! I’ll be picking mine up in Salt Lake City soon also. I was told I should be hearing from delivery specialist In the next 24-48 hours. I have the same config except for midnight silver metallic.

Have there been any scheduled deliveries of AWD + white interior + 19"?

I'm 4/1/16 res 6/28 config for AWD + blue + white + 19" and it's been radio silence. Concerned that it's the 19s holding things up
