Something is amiss.. it's not 'that' cold in SD even now... it has been in the high 30's at night at worst. Do you have notifications on your app for when the charge is complete? You could see the range when then charge was finished. The car is still getting charged appropriately... you are probably losing a few (maybe a bit more than a few depending on how long the gap is from charge complete to driving) miles with the lower temperatures... it really shouldn't matter. You could schedule the charge to end closer to when you start driving if it helps.
