Odd "complaint" - Steering wheel too big (diameter)?

Has anyone else ever felt that the Model S steering wheel is just a tad too big diameter wise? I love the fatness of it, but the overall size feels strange driving the car back to back vs my BMW M235i and my wife's Mercedes E300.

My wife's E300 with Sport Pkg oddly enough actually feels a bit more sporty and it due to the smaller wheel.

Agreed. Always felt the wheel is a bit big. I just compared it to my Volt's steering wheel and the Tesla is about 0.5" bigger in diameter.

Yes, it seems huge to me compared to...my Roadster.

Seriously, the S steering wheel seems normal size.

It's a big car, and thus it needs a big steering wheel. This way you can get a better feel of the car. I've never actually noticed that the steering wheel was too big.

The model S steering wheel does not seem too big. Seems proportional to the car.

Are you talking about the thickness of it or the "big circle" diameter?

When I first got the car, I found the thickness would cause sore thumbs after a long drive. It's probably 50% thicker than my Toyota SUV. Now I'm used to it.

I actually love the thickness and diameter of the steering wheel. It's literally the ONLY thing about the interior I like better about my Tesla compared to the '14 Audi A6 it replaced.

Length, size, girth... Are we talking about a steering wheel or? Seriously, coming from a BMW 435 I find the wheel just a tad over sized myself. If it was just a tad less thick and maybe about an inch less in diameter, it would suit my smaller hands better. Note, it's just my hands that are small...
