Yeah, it's not paused. Rollout still happening. I mean there are pauses of like 30 minutes as they keep rolling out each hour or so. But public beta users are still receiving this beta. I got 99 safety score on friday, 3 days ago after having 98 for a while. Hopefully us new entrants get it starting tomorrow afternoon.

All you have to do is watch TeslaFi for this question. It shows the exact software version each car is updating from. 100% of the 10.5 users so far have come from another FSD version.
By the same notion they've updated 3/4 of the FSD Beta users on teslascope since 5-6PM yesterday. So hopefully that's representative of the population in general and after this morning they will start rolling out to newly minted 98+.

I think we're still a few hours out from when they finish rolling out this new update to existing public beta users. I am not sure if they immediately begin releasing to the new group of people who have opted in or are 98+, or if we have to wait a day or two. Hopefully it's immediate or a few hours. I can't imagine why they wouldn't start doing it pretty soon after but who knows.

Looking at TeslaFi fleet stats, here's my prediction:
  • It's clear that the only people getting 10.5 right now are folks already in the beta with 2021.36.8.x (aka non-virgins)
  • There are roughly 1,900 of those 2021.36.8.x cars in the TeslaFi fleet
  • The number of those cars that have gotten 10.5 pushed to them is now cresting 1,500
So assuming no pauses, we get into virgin territory in the next few hours with many virgin 100 and 99s getting 10.5 today/tonight and into Wednesday. 98s would be after that slug.

300+ miles over 9 consecutive days, 100 score, still stuck on 32.22 with no beta and no updates. Seems like luck of the draw, or maybe only certain cars with certain “build dates”. My performance MY is a year old and should have the proper hardware but according to Tesla 32.22 is the most up to date firmware for the performance model y with my build date. I somehow don’t believe it.

Odd that you're on 2021.32.22. That's the version we were at when initially waiting for the beta, and then about a week ago, we got upgraded to 2021.36.5.1. Me: MYLR April 2021 delivery.

I actually was stuck on 32.22 until a couple weeks ago when I opted out of the FSD Beta Safety Score program for 12 hours. I immediately was updated to 36.5.1. 12 Hours later I re-enrolled in the beta program and had a fresh opportunity to get a better safety score.

I actually saw people doing this so I opted out for three days and even hit up the sc. they told me based on my “build date” my car has the latest firmware. 2020 performance model y. 32.22
