New beta user here as of today. I’m up in the mountains for the holiday and have no service on the car so not sure if that’s affecting anything but I’m going through small towns and I am surprised by how poorly it performed so far based on other videos I’ve seen - almost looks like it does...
UltraCruise has serious potential but I believe it is coming in 2023, not in 2023 model year cars. Hard to say what FSD beta looks like in well over a year from now but they may be comparable. UltraCruise is supposed to be capable of handling normal traffic patterns and lights but not more...
It most definitely is a suspension that kicks you completely out of the FSD beta program - it is still to be seen whether that is a temporary suspension or a permanent removal. The part of the note that mentions the remainder of the trip is explaining what a forced autopilot disengagement is to...
All you have to do is watch TeslaFi for this question. It shows the exact software version each car is updating from. 100% of the 10.5 users so far have come from another FSD version.
98s won’t be included in the first waves of 10.5. People already in beta on older software will all get it first before they expand to new 100s then new 99s and that would be when 98s might get in.
98 safety scores have not been granted access to the FSD beta yet. It has (with some very limited exceptions) only rolled out to 99s and 100s. It is also not at all an instant process - it goes out in batches once or twice a week and not to everyone that qualifies, it can be somewhat random...
Just received this. From Reddit, it’s only going to cars that were previously on 2019.35.whatever, basically cars that were bought in 2020 and are now receiving their first update. Wonder why it’d go specifically to them? (Note: This is me.)
Yeah, I thought maybe that’s what I was missing. Wasn’t sure of the whole value of that but didn’t expect it to be worth a whole $3K or so in the used market, but it very well could be.
I ordered a white/white LR AWD (non-P) and also got my VIN in source code today (ordered 1/10) so it sounds like they just pumped out a white white batch. I’m east coast too like you are. Here’s hoping we get our cars by this upcoming weekend?! Planning for the one after though.
Am I missing something? LR RWDs with FSD commonly sell around $44K right now and this only has EAP. You can get LR AWDs with EAP for this price. What’s the deal?
Ordered a LR AWD, white/white on 1/10 for pick up in Columbus, OH. Got my VIN in source code today, 1/26, 16 days later.
Anyone have input on how long delivery was after finding VIN in source code on east coast?
VIN was found in source code today, 1/26. Ordered on 1/10, picking up from Columbus, OH. White ext, white int.
Anyone have input on how long after finding in source code it took for delivery?
I’m white on white too so it’s good to know they may be starting a batch soon. My OA told me it’s not possible for them to see when a VIN is going to be assigned or how far out it is but she said she still expects to receive it some time in February. Would really like for it to be the second...
The range when you purchased the vehicle was 380 km, that is what the agreement is based on for sure.
Regardless, you are measuring capacity in a completely inaccurate way that isn’t entirely representative of your real status of degradation.
There are a few others saying they received calls and every other person is saying that the call only said their reservation had been received and they had been “assigned” to that delivery center where the call originated from. Nothing about a delivery date at all. It was all from that specific...
They're making LR AWDs right now for the central and east coast. Texas got a shipment this past week, a shipment is heading towards the eastern seaboard right now then a few to the midwest. You can see all the movement on the tracking spreadsheet. Only LR AWDs though, nothing else for the US at...
The LR AWD was still 4-7 weeks when you ordered on 1/10. That's the date you go off of, not the current date. It'll have been almost 2 weeks so definitely early but not abnormally. It's almost certainly just a cancelled order or one someone couldn't take delivery of for whatever reason.
Oh buddy haha. You get a VIN about two weeks before delivery. You’ll probably get it in late February or early March, it just depends where you are located.
First purchase was in Florida which is probably one of the biggest markets if not the second biggest in the country. There's more buyers in CA, yeah, but there's also a hell of a lot more SCs, DCs, and OAs. Also, just because I'm in WV doesn't mean anything - my OA this time is in OH and serves...
I dunno, I've never had a problem with emailing people through Tesla.. When we bought our first Model 3 (Q4 2018, literally the craziest time) I was able to email and text our rep at any reasonable time and have a response back within minutes, he even let us take one of their test drive cars out...
If you have the assets and income to purchase a Tesla, then you shouldn't have trouble qualifying for a lease. There is no such thing as a "favorable" lease. There is a flat rate.
You pay $100 to order a car. The financing comes in the last week or two prior to you picking it up.
Tesla doesn't...
Wow. This is exceptional. GREAT job! I wonder if you could do something like a “past 6 months” tracker, considering white is now the free color, AP is now standard, and EAP no longer exists as an option to buy.
