Ordered a MY-P 4 days ago and received VIN (499xx) on the manage my order page. I know the highest P VINs are in the 58xxx range...should I be concerned with this being a rejected MY-P and potential build quality?

You should be concerned either way
Might be a reject or a cancellation. Even if it is a reject it is possible they "fixed" whatever it was rejected for and might be in better condition than a newer VIN anyway.

That thread is about a 44xxx VIN and this is a 49xxx VIN. Did you link the right thread?
