People think I have my high beams on

Does anyone else have this problem? Especially when driving on dark roads, people flash their high beams at me thinking I have mine on.

Do you have auto high beams enabled?

2 things:

1) did you buy the car used?
2) have you adjusted the headlights?

There's a strong chance the dipped beams have been messed with. You can always check the height with a garage door or wall.

I had the same issue. As temporary solution I did adjustment by myself which worked well. You find plenty of instructions online. Then I went to the bodyshop which had changed my beams and asked for readjustment with their special device. I found that they adjusted +3 instead of - 3degree

google headlight alignment and you'll see some instructions on how you can easily check this. you basically park a certain distance from a wall and see where your light ends up. if it's high or low, you need to adjust your headlights

Headlights are very easy to adjust in the Model S. Personally, I set mine to the max hight just before I get oncoming cars flashing me. Too many deer that I need to see early. It can make a huge improvement in visibility if not adjusted properly.
