I've emailed my sales guy (not a DS, but the one who found the car for me) twice with no reply. I'm guessing the silent treatment is a tactic. Will be interesting to see how this all plays out...
I've been competely ignored by Delivery Specialists, Delivery Centers and so on since I picked up the car despite calling dozens of times and sending a dozen or more emails. I had to show up in person and browbeat a sales guy just to get my copy of the sales contract. Par for the course I'm afraid. They have zero customer service.

Agree- I definitely had 2nd thoughts when I was bounced around like a pinball during the scheduled delivery process, but after the sale it's nothing but crickets. Luckily I haven't had any significant issues other than tesla charging me for my free supercharging. I hope if I actually have a service issue they can respond before the end of the decade.

In my experience Tesla not responding is just normal for Tesla. I don't think it implies something more nefarious.
I would argue their lack of customer service and their biting the hands that feed is nefarious. It's just that in the US customers are used to being treated like garbage by every major corporation.

Remember, "it's not personal, it's just business."

Same experience. My delivery advisor in SF was super responsive until I got the car delivered. Then not a single answer when I had to deal with some serious issues with the car. Had to show up in person at the SC.

That's the same issue I'm seeing now. Either the Service Centers are extremely swamped, or they are not responding to certain customer issues, like the P3D- issue.

I used the account question form in regards to the $5000 refund and got a response 2 days later:

Dear ___,

Thank you for reaching out to Tesla Inc. and sorry for the late reply.

We currently don’t have additional information beyond Elon’s tweets. We will be providing additional information regarding the refund and Supercharging change shortly, and can notify you at that time.

Also if you could please confirm what is the best email address for us to contact you, I'll make sure that one of my colleagues reaches out to you as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

It still sucks, 2k is 2k is 2k. But are least if you ordered early you got the better price. I lost on the PUP and the white interior and they are still fixing delivery problems, there's no p3d- in my driveway. I can see now that they pressured me to take the second car because of the looming price drop. I would have been better off cancelling my order order and taking the $2500 hit to reorder. Then they would be stuck with a P3D- they would not be able to sell.

In fact I'm starting to think the vague Elon tweet was really strategically created so people would still accept any P3d- they had on order.
Same here. I forgot about the the hit on the white interior. So it was really more than a $5K hit...

All in all I paid MORE for my p3d- than the new P3 - the ONLY P-car available now.

Buy hey, I got the discontinued Silver and the lovely aeros, so I should count me blessings right? Maybe I have a collector's item already ! :)

My delivery experience was pretty horrendous (promised home delivery then reneged, had 2 days of travel, bus plane uber, etc., messed up paperwork, and more.) So I don't even bother dealing with my delivery guy anymore.
The moral of the story - promises don't mean much... Being ignored is truth! :)

On a side note - how about all those YouTubers and Podcasters getting free Roadsters? (Some are getting 2.)
Here's an idea - give us free Roadsters for our grief !!! :D

Or at least give us the promise of one - you can always ignore it later on...
It's the thought that counts! OK, I'm going to shut up now...

Well, for you Stealth P3D owners, you don't have to deal with the terrible durability of the 20" tires

That's an ouch, and in a way, one justification for those of us who didn't want 20" rims <- sorry.

Sadly I had to post this week that even the 19" isn't immune to stupid screws in the road and my left rear tire was 'killed' after such a short life... only positive was how fast Tesla mobile came right to my house to replace it making me wonder if you could have called roadside right there to have them come replace your tire w/o the flatbed...

Finally got my confirmation email for the refund for paying P3D+.

I got 3 nails and a BOLT on my '14 spark all on the same tire! What are the odds....I was thinking Tesla ranger as well, but they said since its two tires, a tow is required. A single tire they can do a ranger service.

Since they only had 1 tire available at the Buena Park Service center, they needed to order more and gave me a Model S 75D as a loaner until then. So free miles!
