I recently scored a brand new in box set of Volk Racing RE30's. 15 year old set of wheels just sitting in storage. I had to have them. they're 18x9 ET35. I got them installed today. I reused the stock tires since they have plenty of life. I need to lower a car just a tad for a better stance.

Yah, I would love a nice set of 19x9.5 CE28s, ZE40s or RE30s. I've seen none of those in those specs.

I wanted to stick close to stock for efficiency so when I saw the specs on these I contacted the seller. I immediately felt the difference of the unsprung weight at the corners. I’ve always loved Volks. This is my second set of RE30s. Now I want to lower it. Searching for coilovers. Any recommendations?

MPPs, KWs or Ohlins are the way to go. I'm on 19x9.5" Gram Light 57DRs right now but keeping my eye out on the others. Even if they are staggered 19x9.5 - 19x10.5 I am ok with. I have 20x10.5" TEs on my SQ5 but may also run another set of Volks for my MYP.
Range wasn't really an issue for me since I plug in at work despite having a 45 mile commute each way.

What kind of range penalty did you see by going wider? Im debating on the Tein's and the MPP comfort at the moment. TEIN seems to be the front runner on cost alone. While a range penalty won't bankrupt me I do like squeezing as much range as possible. So far with the RE30's ive seen no penalty since the wheels are lighter than 18" Aeros.

It’s more of a weight savings vs wider contact patch. I had oem 19x8.5s and 20x8.5s prior. They were so much heavier. The Gram Lights are significantly lighter but I also wanted way more grip than the OE Pirellis. Change in range wasn't significantly noticeable.
