I thought this as well. Not just for temperature but also for pressure (with the rears seats normal). All cars have a vent to allow the doors to close without popping your ears!

There's nothing quite like that feeling of driving off. Impossible to wipe the grin off your face.

Interesting... so does anyone have a picture of the trunk vent from the top of the shelf behind the back seat? I have never seen a car with an opening like this.

Glad I watched that video of the guy taking delivery of the Model 3 in Texas, it appears to have been removed:

The owner guessed it was a vent, it’s in no way been confirmed. It might be an access port to the rear brake light. Or both. Or neither.

Could be a port for an 18” subwoofer that goes into the bottom compartment of the trunk.

a) copyrighted music
b) Tesla's worker filmed during delivery without consent - a big no no for Tesla (on all deliveries - Model X,S, and now 3)...
c) It's not yours, do you have owners permission for rehosting or at least the person that uploaded it now has it?
