Anecdotal observation: the four times I have traveled in a Model S (as a pax), I was struck by how the current iteration of autopilot was more than happy to remain in the "blind spots" of other vehicles.

The space of the gap of, and the alignment between the left front fender and the left 'A' pillar is noticeably better on some units than others.

Nine cars with VINs higher than 923, the highest that I saw there last week..
Wonder what's up with the "old" VIN 391; it's still there a week later... And, I may have missed 212 last week; that must have been produced in September/early-October?!!

Maybe new owner is out of town for Thanskgiving and unable to take delivery yet? I mean I would ditch the family for the M3 any day of the week, but maybe some Tesla employees are sick and tired of the M3 by now
Saw 5 Model 3s at the Tesla Delivery Center last week (there for a very cool factory tour...). Three dark gray, one white, one black. VINs from 00015 to 00852. Our tour guide confirmed that the Model 3 line was "up and running" and that opening non-employee configurations was a "huge deal" for Tesla.

At the Harris Ranch CA Supercharger early this morning I spotted this white Model 3. Chatted with the owner, very nice guy who works at Tesla HQ. He has only had the car for less than 2 weeks, I think, and loves it. Likes the center display, range,and power. The car looked great! No, I did not get the VIN, nor did I ask to look inside as it appeared his spouse was napping in the passenger seat and I did not want to disturb her. My X is in the background in these photos.
If I remember correctly, at one time the highest VINs registered was 1134 (or around there for the prod hell), the next batch was is up to ~2600, and latest is about 3800. Wondering how long it takes that we start seeing VINs on those ranges.
The low VINs like 212 on that delivery, most likely QA caught something and the car was delayed until fixed.

Cute graph looking nicely exponential, however it also says only 157 unique VINS have been counted by it, so it must be a smaller subset of what is out there since Monthly Plug-In Sales Scorecard already counted 367 delivered as of beginning of November. New numbers come out December 1st, going to be exciting...

Thanks for the updates everyone. With only 4 days left, this does seem like our 500 car delivery month, previously known as September? At this point I would appreciate a row of trucks pulling out of Fremont , a VIN over 1500 and new VINs registered past 5000. If not too much trouble, December 1st is my due date.

Alright, your job it to take this new car that is extremely rare and I want you to drive it all over Europe so people get really jealous.
Man I have been watching the jobs board at Tesla.com and I have NOT seen that job posted or I would have applied! Perhaps I had the Fremont filter turned on...
