Saw this at the service center in Costa Mesa, CA. It was my first time seeing one in person and I agree with the consensus that it looks better in real life than in pictures. If you have not seen one yet, I recommend going to a service center or a Tesla store that has a delivery center. There will surely be at least a couple. I saw 5 at the delivery center (I slipped an open garage that was housing S's, 3's, and X's) and saw another 5 at the service center. I am going with the aero rims (without the covers) but I must say that the sport rims did look better in person IMO. But I figure if I'm going to spend $1500 on rims I want to pick the specific ones I want.

While having my car serviced at the Dedham MA SC he said they have had a few Model 3s through there already and have more coming in. I as glad to hear that some Boston area deliveries have happened but more importantly - the guy said people are going to be surprised how fast they start happening. Sounds like very good news.

Had my 8 year old try and take a video. Didn't turn out so great but I extracted a few stills.

I just can't help but wondering how all those 3s got out there without a single person noticing them driving through the parking lot. It's like there were none there one evening, and the next morning there were 300. Could they really build 300 in 12 hours? Hmmm.

he reports about 40 are gone ... not sure how he knows

57 VINS counted at the same spot. Some I remember have been spotted before. Hard to say what kind of turnover rate we have. Some cars look dirty indeed so may standing since a while. Assume they wait for final adjustments.

I need to stop checking this thread. Every time I think I've decided on a color, I see a different one and second guess my choice. I've never been so indecisive. The red looks incredible!

could that be a different red then...the colours during the release and this one look so much different than the owners' pictures that get posted on here.

Yea, the red is the most elusive color, almost every picture is different, ranging from pink to almost signature red. This is my color anyway.

But just when I thought I settled down for aeros, all new beautiful pictures made me realize that if I'm going red I need to go 19" otherwise it's a waste.

Is it the exact same blue? Always hard to tell with different lighting, cameras, etc. And is the red the same multi-coat red? I am debating between the two colors. but have yet to see a Model 3 in the wild in the Boston area.
