I have been watching that go up, what is it? Why is it the tallest thing on the campus? Are they out of room to spread laterally?

This was actually the second of two buildings recently built nearby the factory. Currently they are having parts/material stored in other warehouses nearby (Hayward, San Jose, etc) and brought over to the factory for assembly. The goal is to have automated/robotic warehouses to supply the line with parts and material. They built up instead of out since they can't really take up any more valuable parking spaces

When Tesla starts producing M3's in bulk, are they prepared to efficiently distribute them all? Delivery is a rather time consuming, one-on-one process, do they have the facilities and staff to deal with them all?

Agree, which means they will need one in most metropolitan areas. Just hope they can ramp these delivery centers up quickly over the next 3-12 months.

I'd love to see summon plus car-to-car communication try and get one car out from the middle, with all cars moving and adjusting. Kind of like reverse Tetris. ;-)

A huge batch of 3s at the Factory as well. Hard to say how many but looks like a lot....

Adding this together we can predict that some of the production bottlenecks have been finally solved.

At the Dallas, TX service center this morning, no VIN because it looked like the owner was taking delivery.

Passed my the factory on my morning commute as normal

There are another over a hundred Model 3s parked at the south end of the factory visible from the Mission Blvd onramp to 880

Had my 8 year old try and take a video. Didn't turn out so great but I extracted a few stills.

This lot is probably the largest collection of model 3s so far, they may be in the hundreds.
