Placed an order for inventory Y but forgot to add FSD to be able to transfer

I placed an order for Y and forgot to select option for FSD. Is this a required step to be able to transfer when taking delivery? When I called Tesla, they advised me that I should be able to select to transfer under trade in section when completing tasks but I am not trading in the car and finding conflicting info.

Just buy it month to month after taking delivery of the car. $199

I have FSD on current car I am selling and need to transfer to the new Y.

In fact, I believe that on a previous post, someone mentionned that you should not order FSD
when ordering the new car and request a transfer when you get the VIN and the requested final payment.

I don’t have to trade in and the option should be there to transfer when I am going through the process
