Came here thinking it would be the HW3/FSD, but left thinking it was the truck because of some solid arguments.

Model Y would get it's own event, its a very big deal. This is too sudden to be that large of an announcement, IMO. It's also the wrong time of day, they wouldn't release a new product like Model Y or Truck at 2 in the afternoon - Elon likes night parties

My guess is it's just a blog post that gets released at 2PM pacific (aka when markets close) that says "all cars being sold today are equipped with HW3" and some details about why that's a great thing.
