Power Sports wheels? Better than Aero? Why not US?

What do you think? Aero or Performance Chineese PowerSport? Not that we in the US has a choice...…

PowerSports are currently only available in China. AND only for performance Model 3's. ( right now ) Why not the US? Oh well....

I'd be interested in seeing what the wheel looks like under the hubcap.. The 18s have a decent looking wheel underneath and seems like Tesla keeps upping the game

You'd have to see them in person, but silver plastic wheel covers tend to have that cheap "wannabe alloy" look IMO. I also doubt they'll be as efficient as the Aero covers (the "spokes" will probably cause more turbulence).

On the Model 3 configurator on Tesla's Chinese website, it shows the Performance model with these 19" wheels as having 5km more range than the LR AWD with the Aero wheels.

Interesting! I'm planning to buy a Model 3 in the US around March 2020. I just hope by then these wheels are an option for the Performance model.
