I was cleaning the inside of my 2021 vintage Model Y VIN 11x xxx yesterday. It was the first time I really gave the inside of the rear hatch a clean, so that ledge is usually dirty.
When I was doing so, I noticed that there was a black mark that wouldn't come off. Upon further inspection, I notice it was damage from the hatch touching the bumper. As much as that's annoying, it's the damage on the hatch that has me concerned because I know it will rust.
This vehicle already had misalignment problems on the passenger door - it visibly stuck out when the door was closed. They fixed that problem (mostly, still not perfect), but there is now a small chip on that front door and the back door so I wonder how well it was fixed (I need touch up paint to fix it).
The vehicle is still under warranty (67k km of the 80k km warranty). Has anyone else had this problem and did Tesla fix it for a cost or under warranty? At this point I just want the hatch aligned and repaired and will ultimately pay for it if I have to. If anyone has had that done at a Tesla Collision Centre (there's one less than 10 km from my house), if it does come with a cost, what might I expect to pay?
