Fully understand your frustration, but there is no right or wrong here. Those who are changing from MYLR to MYP have been waiting for 8+ month. Upgrading to MYP is just going to get us the car sooner than our MYLR (June instead of Jan 2023). Those who ordered in Feb/March knew the EDD will be sometime in summer. I don’t think you are being pushed back in the line. There are few lucky ones who got a car because it matches their configuration. I upgraded on 4/2 and my EDD is end of June. So you are probably gong to the car before me. When we changed to MYP the only advantage was that we got the older price but I believe it is still considered as a new order (except for few). So to your question why didn’t we order MYP in first place because we didn’t know it will take 8+ months to get our MYLR at that time. Just like you didn’t know that prices will increase this year. Because the same question goes to you why didn’t you order last year? Things change over time, everyone is just trying to get their car sooner and not wait for an year. This is absurd and annoying. With the main theme of "what makes more money gets priority", my MYP ordered in Feb, more expensive than those that changed from LR with last year price, should get prio, instead I get bumped.
To those that are changing to "try" this new trick, why didn't you order it in the first place?
This is not cool....well enjoy my car and allow me some venting...
I know today it seems like everyone got pushed but even your push date is more favorable than those that ordered in Jan and Feb.I think it's everyone (not just EC). My OD was 3/9. Original EDD was 5/15. Two weeks ago it got moved up to 4/24. Today it got pushed back to 5/29. I'm in California.
I'm not getting my hopes up. I talked with a SA today after I checked and saw the delay and she said unless the EDD window gets smaller (7-10 days), there's always a chance it might move again. That's more than I say can vs the SA that I chatted with yesterday that said my 4/24 EDD was looking good. Yah sure...I know today it seems like everyone got pushed but even your push date is more favorable than those that ordered in Jan and Feb.
I have nothing personally against those who switched to P, I chose P in the first place... for a reason so I get it. I am just sad that my EDD was within grasp and now it slipped away. I mean, my 4 years old "made" me order a Sega Saturn USB controller to play Sonic in HEB parking lot
1) There aren’t anyAnyone have Long Range/Performance VIN assigned from Austin?
If so, please share with a few ** in end.
Some ppl does not like to publish full VIN they think its somehow can uncover their ... address/id/etc...1) There aren’t any
2) Why instruct people to hide digits of a VIN? It’s printed all over the car including on the windshield.
Not me. It’s been steady April 20-26 EDDMy MYP with a VIN assigned was just moved a week back. Supposed to get at the beginning of May now. In FL. Anybody else with a VIN assigned had the same?
2007 Toyota Yaris, Base everything, manual drive, roller windows, side view mirrors adjusted from the outside. It did come with an mp3 player and AC though. Served me well.Who's making the biggest leap from their current vehicle? I'll go first, currently cruising in a 2007 Toyota Rav4 2WD, base model.
