orange peel?
And if can be corrected with wet sanding, it'll eat through the entire buffer of clear for future corrections.

orange peel?
I ordered in April 2021…"March"... which was presumably March 2021 since I ordered right after the refresh announcement.
I wound up rejecting it due to the paint primarily. Car had to many nicks and scratches on multiple panels, some of which were deep.View attachment 768158

Really hard to do that but I would have done same. Even knowing next may not come for a few more months I couldn’t stomach looking at all that on a new car.I wound up rejecting it due to the Paint primarily. Car had to many nicks and scratches on multiple panels, some of which were deep.
Maybe forward that email to rest of us? That would give them feedback.I just got an automated survey email from Tesla with subject line: Share Your Tesla Experience. Went to current owners and I let them have it.
I'd feel bad for the guy reading it, but nobody will. What additional features do I want on my model 3? They're on the MX, so give it to me.
My youngest has become potty-trained, and my oldest has learned to read and lost two teeth during these 13 months. At this rate, the utility of the MX's silly doors will shift from getting my kids into the car to my kids getting an old man in.
Congrats! Another graduate, lolHey guys,
So picked up the car yesterday. It was a bit of a circus to start off with. Delivery was scheduled at noon at the factory, then 4pm. Requested 5, so they moved me to 5pm. Get there at 5:45 and they said the car isn’t ready yet and it’ll be ready at 7pm. Had someone take me there to get the car so had to wait at the delivery center and couldn’t leave.
6:50pm and it comes to the main lot in front of the showroom. About 5 people are cleaning the car once it’s parked and put the paper license plate and frame on the car. I asked the person that was part of the delivery team and they stated no production has started on 5 & 7 seaters yet.
It was dark, so couldn’t really inspect it until today. The drive home was amazing. Super smooth, no noise, and glides along the road. Sound system is phenomenal.
Went out and inspected mostly the trim and followed the checklist (thank you for compiling that guys!) Already put the Tesla front floor mats in.
Unfortunately, found one main issue. The FWD is rubbing against the trim/paint of the left side. (Attached photo) so I scheduled a service appointment. Disappointed there.
Another thing is, the passenger side doors don’t open when you press them unless other doors are unlocked. Is that common?
I’ve been here since around page 100 and made my first post around page 140-150. Thank you all so much and wishing everyone a beautiful car delivered to them.
@niogyn if you still want that ride I got you bro! Hope your car is pristine and not one issue!
Almighty @Stro, hope you get a flawless car! Always enjoy your posts, you have a great personality.
Take care everyone!
First off, Congrats! Again!
Second, we have the same dealership limitation here in Oklahoma. When I ordered my car I had to select Kansas City as my pickup location. I'm guessing I could do home delivery but am nervous about doing that if I have to reject the car. How do you have it sent to an SC? We have one in Tulsa.
Congrats! Have seen quite a few of photos of the car already and my mouth salivates each time. The Car is beautiful!Hey guys,

great question. is the 6 seater the same layout as the prior X’s? if so then i say TuxMats. So is there a consensus on which all weather mats to use for the new X?
Thanks for sharing pictures! Do you think it would be better if the wheel was made from much darker plastic? Its color reminds me the cheapest cars from the past.So picked up the car yesterday.

Based on the pics from the front door mats I ordered, the back look nice as well.So is there a consensus on which all weather mats to use for the new X?

Is that because you made multiple changes? I’ve made no changes to my order but I added it before the price increase. I plan to take it off after I VIN’ed. As an option it should be able to be removed.FYI you cannot remove it now. You’re stuck with it unless you want a price change.
