Just realized that the 6 seat is 6,500… that’s absolutely absurd considering how uncomfortable those second row captains chairs are without any arm rest… I do love how open and airy the cabin feels with our 6 seat co figuration but it just isn’t practical.. especially at a cost of 6,500

You don’t know Tesla then lol. They will definitely get out the higher margin plaids first, like they did with model S…. They don’t care how long ago you ordered to be frank

Just got a call from Tesla corporate asking if I am willing to change to a 6 seat config for quick delivery! Agent stated that production is starting end of this/beginning of next week, and that only 6 seater plaids will be built/delivered. Jan ‘20 order. plaid, 7 seater.

Exciting! What's your configuration? Black or white interior?

Something else! My point of contact within Tesla (different from person that called). Said that they see in pre production only plaid, 6 seater, and 20” wheels.
