Refreshed MS LR/Plaid Firmware status

I just got a new plaid yesterday. Running 12.4.9. No dashcam viewer (even using voice commands) and infotainment crashing when pulling up manual.

How do we update to latest firmware?

@ekimsurfer You wait; a long time (a month or more if you have a recently built VIN, less time if an older “bastard’s lot” VIN)…

Per their signature and custom banner 437 as of 7/31.

PS. we probably could stop referring to the "bastards lot" since there is zero indication that those cars are being delivered.

Yes!!!! I took pictures to document the occasion. Looks like it still does that thing where the download stops 50% through and then continues 5 minutes later.

Edit #1: Download was 1.5GB coming from 2021.12.4.9. Added another screenshot.

Edit #2: Update available screenshot added. This photo serves no purpose other than to give me joy. So Yaalah, why not.

Edit #3: Damn. 50 minutes? That’s cray. You’d think all this new computing power would do something. Let’s start the clock!

One thing I've noticed after updating to 32.5, the haptic feedback on the yoke is now a lot stronger, prominent.

It's might be louder.... I don't know if I can tell it's more noticeable. Sounds more like a "Safari is snappier!" moment.

It really is crap, isn't it?! Laughable. Like you can feel any haptics when rumbling down the road. I can just imagine the UI guys - "IT FEELS SO GREAT when sitting in the garage! PERFECTION!"

And then when driving, it's the "Oh...." moment.
